Hi- I'm running Ubuntu 8.10 on my laptop (32-bit) and installed the sun-java6-plugin package, which works great. However I am curious if there's a way to make the Sun Java plugin use a SOCKSv4 or SOCKSv5 proxy; I set up this proxy in Firefox and it seemed to work but the Java plugin didn't honor the new settings. Anything else I need to change? (I don't believe I restarted firefox after doing that... might try that now)
