Hey guys,

I suspect the new kernel doesn't boot with a Ratech RTL8185L PCI Wireless Lan Card. Each time when I boot Xubuntu, it freezes short after X is being started (Before the Login appears). Neither a LiveCD (Ubuntu, Debian, OpenSolaris) nor another installed distribution (Debian, OpenSUSE) is able to boot. The all fail at the point where X is supposed to start.

If I remove my Wireless-LAN-Card from my PC (Which is btw. a HP Kayak XM600 with a coppermine CPU) everything works fine. Ubuntu 8.04 doesn't have a problem either. But I'd like to have the newest ubuntu on my pc ;)

Anyone can help me? Thanks in advance...

No one has an idea about what's going on?
