[SOLVED] where do minimized windows go in kde4

I'm sure I'm missing something basic in kubuntu 8.10 (kde4.1), but where do minimized windows go to and how do you restore them?

edit; a little t & e shows ctrl+F10 pulls them back.

They should minimize to the taskbar. It's possible that part of the panel was removed accidentially in your setup. You could look through the Add Widgets dialog to see if adding one helps.

Last I checked, they dropped into the Task Manager in the panel, same as Gnome and KDE 3. Is that applet running?

On mine nothings drops into 'taskbar', but the ctrl + f10 does restore them.

edit: you guys are right - there was no task manager in panel - thanks
