Group Membership

hi all,
i was just wondering if it would be possible to have an option added to group memberships, that when a user applies to a group, they receive a 'welcome to prospective member message' I think a PM on the forums would be best? :)
I realise that there are a few issues with the forums at the moment, with the servers etc, so this will be by no means a top priority, but just a suggestion for when you have time.

i see things are starting to slow down a little bit now... was just wondering if the fc had time to take a look at this? i think it could really benefit the group leaders.

Also I don't see this as a HUGE priority as the amount of members/requests is far far less then the average usage on the rest of the forums.

Was the PM I received a manual process?
I also like the personal touch makes joining the Groups so much more worth while.

Yes, this is not a huge priority by any means, just posting it for when the FC has time ;)

Yes, the pm you received was a manual process. I will most likely continue to send a manual pm upon acception, but i would like to send a welcome prospective member pm upon applying, and for this to be an automatic process...
