I've always thought the design of the Ubuntu forums to be great.

If I'm allowed to ask, who designed it, and are they for hire? :)

Especially love the use of vb conditionals in the template - nice work overall.

I believe ubuntu-geek designed it. I'm not 100% sure

Well, yes... Wanna hear a funny (and embarrassing for me) story ?

When u-g was planning last big software upgrade, we had a test forum to try new stuff around, point at things that were not working, say what we liked, did not like, have fun etc..
At the time, the template was a mix of the Ubuntu one u-g was designing and the basic Vbulletin one.

I made a comment about the truly ugly icons from the basic Vb theme, and how u-g's were nicer and.. hum.. a Vb dev stopped by to see the work :oops:

I remember that. It made me laugh. The guy took it pretty well, considering. :)

I apologized, and he said he did not like the brown, we ended up even ;)
Edit: I would have never made a comment if I had thought we were not in private..
