View Full Version : [ubuntu] How to config Totem/GStreamer to play RMVB files?

Hi,
I have two .rmvb media files. One is Real-Video-4.0 and Real Audio G2 (Cook) codec, the other is Real-Video-4.0 and Real-Audio-10(AAC). After my installation of RealPlayer(11.0.1.1056), both the two files can play correctly using RealPlayer.
However, totem can play both video and audio of the first file, while can only play the video of the second file. I've tried to copy the AAC.so lib file to /usr/lib/gstream, but this doesn't work.
I wanna use TOTEM to play these media, since there may be occasionally a little bit latency in video using RealPlayer. So, could you help me how to configure the totem or gstreamer? Thanks.
