Problem with sound on Ubuntu 8.10 with a Creative X-Fi and WMP

I have installed the new Creative X-Fi Linux driver for my Creative X-Fi XtremeMusic on Ubuntu 8.10 and I have sound in all applications and flash videos but not in windows media streams (flash and windows media streams tested in Firefox 3).
What must I do to hear sound from WM streams?

what player are you using Xine, MPlayer, Totem, etc. ?

I have solved the problem with uninstalling the Totem plugins for Firefox and instead using MPlayer plugins for Firefox. :)
