[SOLVED] Compiz Crashed, how to get it back?

So I was curious as to how my laptop would handle an external monitor (it does).

I disengaged the moitor after turning it off in Screen resolutions, and went back to my laptop screen. Now I see all my Compiz effects like Expose, Cube transparency and shadows and such are gone! I cannot restart them through a full restart and even the basic effects are not working in the Apperance pane are working.

What do I need to do to get them back please?

Never mind, fixed it myself by firing up Synaptic and doing a COMPLETE removal of everything that came up with Compiz in the name.

I then rebooted, reinstalled everything I had removed and it all took effect right then and there.
