Hi, I am ripping a mono 40 minute CDA track to flac. I looked for and could not find the mono option in the flac man page which I assume is what I need to apply in the encoding flac command line options in rubyripper. Cdex offers the option of mono or stereo in the encoding options (although it seemed to just crash when I selected it in this case). The CDA track was originally put on CD from audio cassette tape in case that matters. This is definitely only a mono audio track though whether or not the CDA is considered stereo or mono... Can somebody please advise if I'm needlessly encoding another channel (in stereo)? Thanks!
