Intrepid on the eee-pc 901

I just installed 8.10 on my son's eee-pc as I was unhappy with the support the default OS was getting. I followed the steps mentioned in:

http://forum.eeeuser.com/viewtopic.php?pid=433208

and all was ok. He can still use the webcam, all the hotkeys appear to still work, battery monitoring ok, wireless works - really easy to set up and he's now playing his favourite tux racer game like before.

nice to see things work well on the eeepc. i was thinking of getting one of these and putting ubuntu on it:)

Oh how nice ;D I was just going to google the possibility of Ibex on eee 901 for my newbie friend.
