Forum Error

When I tried to search the forum I got this error:


Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 16777216 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 17 bytes) in /srv/www.ubuntuforums.org/public_html/includes/functions.php on line 4762


Just thought I'd let the staff know.

Also, the forum seems to be running kind of slow... And I've got "high speed" internet.

The search doesn't work for me either. Seems it's server-side, due to too much traffic.

I find the performance actually much better as it was a couple of days ago. In the past I had to wait half a minute or so before having my search results, now it shows within the blink of a eye.. well for me anyway.
Maybe it's because I'm on Google Chrome. ;-)

Search is currently being worked on now we have new hardware :)

Until we get that sorted (vBulletin's search is kinda rubbish), I still suggest using Google, it works great
