Hello could anyone tell me if dawn of war can work on ubuntu as each time i try installing it from the cd or mounting it I get this error message:
DBus error org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply: Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken.
And something about not being able to access it because of a superblock, thanks a lot :D

I used ot play it thru Wine, and I think it deserves to be mentioned that it is one of the few games that actually seem to become faster that way than thru XP...

Anyway, since I own it on Steam, I never ran into any CD/.iso problems.

Albeit knowing that you're posting this in the wine subboard, just out of makesureity, you do have Wine installed, rite? ...Or are you mistaking the windowz compatibility layer for a thing that "them" call Wine, which is just there without setting it up and such?
No "offense", just to make sure...you never know... ;)
