intel X3100 drivers for ubuntu 8.10

hi all,

my new dell inspiron 1525 works great with 8.10 (after an update from 8.04)
but sometimes i see small bugs (that disappear after a second) when starting Firefox or Open Office.

a bigger problem (that i can't work because of it) is with GoogleEarth.

it starts, all ok. but the graphics don't look good at all, and very very buggy.

any idea? :confused:

it happened to me too. intel x3100 isn't full compatible with desktop effect of compiz yet, to get rid of those problems(when work with firefox,openoffice,googleearth,blender, and some other games..) you should set your visual effect back to none, in default , it's normal.if you wanna compiz, then buy another graphic card which full compatible with compiz :KS
