Hi,

I have World of Warcraft running almost perfectly on my 8.04 installation using the forum's setup guide, but there are some strange issues that I haven't been able to track down a source for.

The main issue I am having is with excessive screen tearing whether or not I enable the in-game vertical sync setting. This also affects about 75% of the screenshots I may take in-game. I am using an nvidia card, and playing around with opengl settings in the nvidia X tool seems to have no effect on wine's v-sync.

The other issue is that I actually require compiz to be running to play. If I disable it through the 'Appearence' interface, Wow.exe consistently displays "Error of failed request: GLXBadDrawable" as an error and never reaches the login screen. I realize that this may be contributing to issues I have enabling v-sync.

Any suggestions or help would be very appreciated!
Thanks

Did you ever find a solution to the vsync issue?
