Hi
I have a problem...
I have just updated to the ubuntu and no all of a sudden I can't play games with a disc in the drive... Most of my game discs are scratched and unusable thanks to my little cousin... But now what do I do? When I try to run a game through cedega, it freaks out and says that there isn't a DVD in the drive...
Please Please Please help me!

Have you tried WINE?
also
Did you ever rip images of the games?

It doesn't work as well with wine...:( I can quickly copy the iso from my brother over the network... Do I just mount it with gmount-iso?

I know in WINE, you can mount an ISO as a lettered drive. I'm sure Cedega can do it too.

Still not working... It seems that this is not wine or cedega related but because of the new ubuntu... :(

Try mounting image in CDemu
Tried that... Great program by the way... thanks... Still not working...
Out of 6 games, only COD4 and Battlefield 2 don't work... SPORE, Battlefield 2142, EVE Online and C&C3 all work

I've been trying everything I can think of for the past week and still no luck... Is there any other way to try get this problem sorted... Maybe take it up with an ubuntu developer or something...
