I recently installed Kubuntu Intrepid 8.10 on my Dell XPS M1330 laptop with Intel X3100/GM965 integrate graphics.
Overall, everything is working quite well. However, I did have to blacklist video to fix the resetting brightness and brightness adjustment issues (these issues were also present in Ubuntu 8.04):

I am getting some graphical glitches. After a minute or so, if I drag a window across the desktop, it leaves a trail of garbage. Also, openning new windows in Firefox etc sometimes displays the garbage. It is much more apparent with desktop effects turned on.
Is anyone else having this issue or know of a fix?
