WoW (world of warcraft) works fine for the most part, just as well as it used to on my windows partition. However, I am having issues with the mouse. It is very laggy, and due to this problem I did a search on this problem in the forums. It turns out that opengl doesn't have mouse hardware support for windows, which means that when I run WoW in wine, the mouse is taken care of by the software, and, due to my relatively weak computer the mouse problem renders the game virtually unplayable. Is there any way I could get opengl to have mouse hardware support? (it has it on mac computers). Now, thinking logically, both mac and linux are unix based, does this mean that I could just use the mac version of WoW and/or opengl? I realize that that is probobly a noob question, but I am really sick of switching back to windows xp every time that I want to play World of Warcraft. please notify me if there is any way to get the mouse to work, anything other than switching out of opengl, as doing so would make WoW unplayable for me. Thank you! ^_^
