I am trying to update my KDE 4.1.2 to the newly released 4.1.3
on Ubuntu Hardy.
The problem is that it is not officially on the repositories,
the only repo I found is for Ubuntu Intrepid.
I tried to find a way to install it from binaries to no avail.
Any suggestion would be more than helpful.
Thank you in advance

According to this:
http://www.kubuntu.org/month/2008/11
KDE 4.1.3 has already been to 8.10 backports.
I personally find this thing kind of annoying
i.e. to provide an update only to the newer release
but not to the release that is characterized by Long term support.
Then what does Long stands for?
I personally switched to 8.04 due to this fact and now I figure out
that this wasn't the full truth.
If anyone has an account at
http://www.kubuntuforums.net/
or at http://kubuntuway.net/
let he/she open a relative thread.

I think that the 8.04 LTS version doesn't apply to KDE 4 but to KDE 3.5.X ...

You are right about that,
but since KDE 4.x was in fact in 8.04 repositories
till version 4.1.2 I can't figure out any reason for
stop being after that version.

Actually, someone on #kubuntu (freenode) told me that LTS only applies to Ubuntu 8.04, not Kubuntu.
I feel a bit frustrated too as I only recently upgraded to 8.04 and I can't have the latest 4.1.3 just yet (if I knew a bit better about compiling/packaging/adept/etc. I would've helped to set it up for hardy).
The main cause of this frustration is that KDE4 still feels a bit clunky (just a tad) at the moment but on top of that, we (us, KDE4 users) know that for each incremental version, KDE4 is becoming better and better, and not being able to use the most recent version right now is very hard to deal with :)
Although patience is a virtue so let's keep our hopes high!
