After upgrading to Intrepid, or perhaps after just doing the kernel updates today, I am unable to print to my only printer, which is connected to a Windows Vista box on my LAN. At first I was getting an error about a cups-missing-filter, but now I no longer see that error. I tried
sudo /etc/init.d/cupsys restart
as suggested somewhere, but "command not found"
I tried to install a new printer, but browsing to a smb printer doesn't find any. I haven't got a clue how to troubleshoot this. I rarely print, but when I do, it's really important. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
