quick question on .avi

i am trying to download a 'torrent'

i able to download a 'mp4' using the 'bitTorrent download client', but it does not work with the 'avi' files.

quick help anyone?

Sounds more like there are not enough seeds/leachers to download the files from. File types don't really have any significance with p2p downloading.
