Question for those running Ubuntu on a Dell Inspiron 1526... Have you had any luck running Vista and / or XP in VMs using VMWare Server? I have licensed copies of both Vista Ultimate and XP Pro. Currently, am running Vista as a host and have VMs of XP and Intrepid (upgraded RAM to 4 gigs). I am considering switching to using Intrepid as the host and running XP & Vista in VMs (primarily for the memory-management benefits). Has any had experiences with this setup? Which drivers work & which are headaches?
Other potential concerns running win32 in VMs: Ipod / ITunes support?
Blackberry desktop manager support?
