I just upgraded to Ubuntu 8.10 and after rebooting, i got the following message
[0.796103] Kernel panic - not syncing: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on unknown-block(0,0)
I get it eery time I try to boot into Ubuntu 8.10 kernel 2.6.27-7 generic but Ubuntu works perfectly fine when I boot into 2.6.24-21 generic. What's the problem and how on earth do I fix it?
