Hey guys!
I'm real new at Ubuntu, had a computer before wich ubuntu destroyed my harddrives all the time i installed it. But now i got myself a new M1710 with a Go 7950 GTX and it works perfectly, almost. :D
To the question;
The problem is with the graphics, I activated the 177 driver as anyone would have done probably.
Everything now works fine except one thing, the screen starts to flimmer/flicker(lines all over the screen) after a while of usage(random) the temperature is normal, or even below normal. I've used the packet handler and uninstalled all nvidia stuff and reinstalled the 177 driver's but still can't seem to get rid of that problem. By the way i got a beemer/projector on TwinView that works pretty much as i want, if that helps in any way.
The thing is, i can fix this with using the function key+CRT/LCD button on the laptop(just switching screen back and forth), that fixes the problem for the time being, then i have to do it over and over everytime that happens. But only if i got the DVI connector to the beemer/projector plugged in.
Searched the forums for it but can't seem to find a similar problem.
Thanks in advance!
Me loves ubuntu :p
