I think a Ubuntu Brainstorm Category for the Forum would be good to have so that people can post their ideas there and give a brief discription of whats its about so that Forum Members have more input.

No. We have the Forum Feedback and Help subforum, which serves that purpose fine.

As for Brainstorm, the quality of discussion there is considerably less intelligent than at the average daycare.

Agreed on both points. Brainstorm is broken, and needs to be fixed before anything like this could even be considered.

+1 to that. The new Brainstorm should be launching in the coming weeks as well which should clean up a lot of stuff. At that point I think we'll be able to work with Brainstorm and the Idea Pool together and really get discussions going.
