Hi. I'm basically an Ubuntu newbie. I have wound up with a computer that has Ubuntu 8.04 on it. It boots ok, but so far the wireless is dead.

lspci tells me this about the wireless network card in the system:
00:09.0 Ethernet controller: Marvell Technology roup Lt. 88w8335 [Libertas] 802.11b/g Wireless (rev 03)
Subsystem: Marvell Technology Group Ltd. 88w8335 [Libertas] 802.11b/g Wireless
Control: I/O+ Mem+ BusMaster+ SecCycle- MemINV- VGASnoop. ParErr- SERR- FastB@B-
Status: Cap+ ...

I tried doing:
sudo modprobe libertas
and it completed without error.

I then tried
sudo iwconfig wlan0 key <key-went-here>

but iwconfig says wlan0 doesn't exist.

Previously, I had a usb network card with this system, and it seemed to work with the iwconfig command above.
