Hello all,
I am running an install of 8.04 server with the LAMP server option. Several times a day,(if I had to guess, about a dozen), my website is unavailable. Also, I can not SSH in. However, after some time I will be able to access the site and SSH.
Here is the work I have done to the server beyond a basic install and set up LAMP:
-Set a static IP (w/ subnet, DNS, that jazz)
-installed OpenSSH
-Installed no-ip2, I use No-IP.org to resolve my domain to my Dynamic IP
-run apt-get update whenever I could
I don't believe this is the fault of my IP changing since it has remained the same throughout the past month. I can grab the files I have changed and post them if it would be helpful.
Thank you for your time
EDIT:
I tried restarting Apache and received this error:
apache2: Could not reliably determine the server's fully qualified domain name, using 127.0.0.1 for ServerName
[ OK ]
