Panic!
The repos were acting up earlier, I couldn't download any packages, but they seem fine now. However now archlinux.org is borked :(

Yeah this is proving problematic, as I had some works to be doing and required the assistance of ye old wiki...

Anyone have any actual information on what's going on? Surely there's got to be SOME contact with the Arch people.

I haven't been able to connect for a while. I'm hoping they come back up soon.
Also, here's a nice tool to check if a site isn't working for you only or if it's for everybody:

Take a look at this... I iz confuzzled.

It seems they're down.
Also a heads up for you all, the latest updates involving the gnome group destroyed my avant-window-navigator. Some applets don't load and I can't open the dock preferences.

Heh, I wiped out my arch install yesterday too, so I still need to get a bunch of things setup, specifically cpu frequency scaling and disabling the touchpad while typing.
Ah well, for now back to the thing which destroyed the install - Windows Server 2008 Enterprise x64

Man this stinks. I wonder what happened. I need to update my notes on stuff I did after installation, so I need the wiki to come back.

What're the odds it happens on the day that I choose to install Arch to a USB stick after not using linux for over 3 months??? :(

([Number of hours the arch server was offline]/[Number of hours the Arch server was online])/(Number of hours you it would take you to do it.)
There you go. (I think that's right. If anyone wants to check out my logic, feel free.)

I'm sure that there are other copies of the tutorial on the net.

markp1989, i bet if you search the topic on google, that you will find a cached copy of the arch wiki page. Once on the cached page it will probably lock up and stop loading, just click text only and you can read the wiki contents.

Yeah down .... maybe just a router problem. Happened before it seems on November of last year.
As soon as it comes back online I'm going to get myself an offline copy of the wiki, thats for sure. Just in case something like this happens again .... (like it did to the gentoo folks, they kind of lost their wiki :( )
