View Full Version : [kubuntu] kwin cube?

I've seen videos of this cube plugin for KDE4, but I can't find anywhere to get it or any other plugins. It's not in synaptic or kde-look.org. How can I get this cube functionality without using Compiz, which seemed to have not played very nice with KDE4 the last time I tried it?

Anyone? I've found links to the same YouTube video of the cube about 10 times, but I can't find where to get it.

We did have this in Kubuntu 8.10 beta which included the cube, cylinder and sphere. For me they worked extremely well, but unfortunately the Dev's removed them for stability issue's (so I am told). We may well see them back in a couple of days when KDE 4.1.3 is release, otherwise we will have to wait for KDE 4.2 in January.

I will wait until they find their way back, as I do like the way Kwin handles it all, rather than to have a third party programme.
