Any Ultima Online players?

I'm a Ultima Online: Age of Shadows player on some server as I wait my main server to re-open.

In case you are wondering how I installed it. I use the most recent wine from the repos and I have only succeded in installing the 2D client. Pick the exe to install that client directly and not setup.

The 3D client updates, but stalls and crashes on opening after the update.
The thing works perfect in 2D!

Thank you for this post. Up until this point i didn't know there was a free way to play ultima online. I am a casual gamer and start and stop playing randomly. this is perfect for me.

I played UO for a little over 4 years.. actually I think my account is still active... I have left Sosaria for the World of Warcraft in January of this year. Up until then I played UO most of those 4 years on Linux using Wine, I actually am a subscriber to Cedega but found it was no better than Wine for UO, so stick to it! It is an awesome game.
