Hi,
Ever since an upgrade to VLC, all the videos start with a lag, meaning that when I load the video, the first few secnds go with nothing happening and than the video resumes. sometimes the audio is working in those first few seconds, sometimes not.
I have an ati mobility x1600, and the problem persists with the open source drives as well as fglrx. It began in Hardy, but didn't subside even with a sparking clean install of intrepid.
in synaptic I can't force an older version on VLC (ctrl+e is greyed out).
If anybody has an idea, it would be great.
