Im trying to connect my computer (see sig) to my tv (Samsung lcd) via HDTV cable.
I can get a picture on my tv without problems, but i cant get the entire desktop. The Gnome panels or menus are missing, so all i see is whats in between the top and bottom bars.
ive tried various resolution settings on the tv and on computer but nothing helps me to get the entire picture.
any thoughts???
