I am running Ubuntu on a 'Santa Rosa' Macbook and have just upgraded to 8.10 I am really happy that WPA wireless is working at last, but have come across a new issue.

My workplace has a secure network, using WPA Enterprise, which I have not yet been able to access. The wireless applet gave me a list of things to fill out (I can't remember all the details - and I can't access this dialog anymore!) and after I entered my username and password it just locked the screen.

The computer is now completely unresponsive to anything but a hard reboot, which is fine until a couple of seconds after the desktop appears (I assume this is when the OS sniffs for wireless connections) when it locks again.
My computer is now unusable.

I am guessing I can remove the connection settings for that network from the command line in 'recovery mode', but I am not sure what I should be modifying here.

Can anyone help me restore my computer?!
