Sometimes I get impatient and hit the submit post button twice. I end up with two identical posts. Can I delete one? Or is deleting restricted to admin/moderators?

Just edit one of the posts, and replace the content with something like "Double post".
There's also a report post button at the lower left of each post, where you can alert moderaters that it needs removing, but just clearing the content of one of the posts is easiest, and people won't mind it much.

It happens form time to time. Try to be more patient :)
If you need a post deleted you will need to report it. You can edit it yourself and type something like:
"duplicate post, sorry" or what have you.
In general, other then duplicates and spam we do not delete posts.

Duplicates happen by accident. If you don't have more than two posts in a row, I say ignore it.
I never respond to reports asking for accidental duplicates to be deleted because it is a waste of time. You can, if you want, edit saying it was a duplicate, but my advice would be to ignore it because everyone else will.

Yes, the question is: which one?

No, the one I thanked. That is a database error, not a real thank.
