View Full Version : [ubuntu] [SOLVED] What do I do with old Hardy repos Hardy in sources.list after upgrade?

So, I'm upgrading from Hardy to Intrepid.

What do I do with all my old Hardy repositories? Do I have to manually search out all my repos anew, or can I do a search-and-replace, "hardy" for "intrepid"?

Will updates from the old hardy repos work with intrepid still? Are there any hard and fast rules?

Thanks much, this is my first upgrade!

You shouldn't mix different releases of ubuntu sources.list as they can result in breakages. When you upgraded your sources.list should have changed to intrepid.

Yep, looks like most of my custom repositories are disable. I'll have to check on each manually to see if they have intrepid releases. They've been automatically upgraded or commented out by the automatic upgrader.
