Calcomp Digitizer - Can I run it in Ubuntu?

I have need of a use of my digitiser tablet, can i use it in Ubuntu? when i tried it with Gimp prior it was hap-hazard at best. Looking for driver's and help.

I emailed the Calcomp people a while ago to see if there was a solution to get my cadpro working, but the answer was no.

There does appear to be a calcomp driver in universe, try that and see if it works.
