Install 8.10 last night. My Hauppauge 1600 tuner card was recognized instantly. Yippee!! Now I hope to install Mythbuntu 8.10 and see if mythtv sets up easier than has been the case. Till now I have not been able to get Myth working. Anyone used Myth 8.10 yet? Is it easier?
I installed Intrepid and then reloaded my previous system packages using dpkg command. This cause a system failure. Anyone have a similar experience? Looks like I may have to build my new system from scratch. Drat!!
