I did a search here and I could not find a poll about the most beautiful distro, so I thought I'd start one. Trash this thread if this has already been done!

I've taken the top 8 distros from Distrowatch and added Kubuntu and Xubuntu to make up 10. The idea here is to vote for the distro which you think is the most beautiful / best-looking "out of the box". Forget about changing themes or customizing.

I heard that Dreamlinux looks nice, but since I have never used it I had to vote for openSUSE 11 for it's looks.

Saw that one, but it does not have a poll.

out of those given I would vote Mint, as Mint has a pleasant interface anyone can get used to.
I dont like the looks of Ibex, Mandriva KDE4 or the others so much

Fedora has always looked great to me, and Cambridge should be just spectacular (aesthetically).

Yeah, I agree. I don't have any experience with Fedora at all -- I've just run it off a Live CD and from an installation for a short time, but it looked really crisp and stylish and professional. How do I get Hardy/Intrepid to look like that? :-)

None of the above. Ultimate Edition has always had the best OOB themes IMO.

Ubuntu is the prettiest, but OpenSUSE came close.
Sadly, what OpenSuse had in graphics it failed in functionality.

As much as I love and use Debian, that shouldn't even be a choice in this poll. It's nowhere near Ubuntu, Fedora, Opensuse, or many many others. Pretty is not it's goal.

Linux Mint looks stunning. Love the mix of green and black :D
