python 2.6?

I'm waiting for this too.. Python 2.6 carries lots of features and improvements..
For example with Py 2.5 it is very difficult to manage password-protected zip files

i understand that since a lot of the system relies on Python, it might take a while. Hopefully, they aren't waiting for 3.0 and planning on skipping 2.6 :O
