I feel like a ten year old! I've installed ubuntu today, and i find it just FANTASTIC! It's probably the finest distro i've tried! (this and FC3)

Telmo, I feel the same as you do about Ubuntu. I've played around with Linux since 1999 and I've felt like a newbie for most of that time. It's only since the passed year that I feel like I'm coming into my own. Ubuntu has helped greatly. After jumping from one distro to another, I thought I found my home with Fedora Core 2. Dont get me wrong, it's a great distro but Ubuntu stole my heart. Love the hell out of it!

:D Cool! I've just said FC3 goodbye! It has been fun, but too many bugs and unsolved issues... anyway it was cool. But Ubuntu is lighter and nicer...

One thing i couldn't stand about FC3 was RedHat itself! They're using the entire community to profit! Maybe that's just my idea...

But i just love Ubuntu! ;)

By the way... do you know if Canonical is still offering free CDs?
