I have Ubuntu on a Memory Card using a Eee PC with Knoppix installed. My wireless connection with my router works fine in Knoppix, but after a large update in Ubuntu, I find my wireless connection disappeared and I don't know how to get it back - using either Network Settings from the wireless icon - or using Wi-Fi radar.
Could someone please advise?

I had the same thing happen with my Asus Aspire One. What worked for me was to shut down completely and remove the battery. Simply rebooting didn't work. I found that answer on another Ubuntu thread, but I forget where. In any case, there's no harm in trying it.
