Eclipse, Formatting code [colour/layout]

Hi

i currently use eclipse on windows and the IDE formats my code with colours and highlights keywords, auto completes code etc

Is there a way i can activate this in the linux version? is it possible to export the settings from windows to ubuntu?

it should do it nativly, have you tryed looking in the options?

i reinstalled the beast and imported the settings from my windows install im not sure which one fixed it but i have lovely colour, now back to my coursework :(

How's it going man, just wondering what kinda courses ya taking?

I use eclipse for my java editing aswell, have you ever heard of text pad? you can store it on a thumb drive and it works very nicely (just make sure all the classes are in the same folder), it's a very lite program to.
