These forums feel biased. Many times users seem to get away blaming whole nations or listing their shortcomings and mods seem to just read and move on.
The mods of course take offence to posts in reference to their posts or comments.
I never post in community cafe as i just want to stay here to help fellow members, but i do read that section and its not funny.

rajeev.

Hi and if you see a post that is in violation of the COC please use the report button. The Mods and Admin can not read every post on the forum. :)

Sir, i know its a tough job.I dont want to report anything for now,but reading COC is one thing and feeling from the heart is difficult to correlate.
I have seen mods take part in a thread but seem to ignore such references.Keep it strict so community cafe posters can avoid offensive words.I think mods are caught between being strict but allowing free speech.Always a tough call :)
Keep the infractions rolling though. :D
warm regards
rajeev.

There are several post that I find are need of attention and I report to get input from other staff. If they agree then great if the determined other actions then great also. The cafe is a little loose on language but the COC still applies.
Also it is not about issuing infractions. If we never had to issue any infractions I believe we would all be happier. ( I can not speak for all the staff but I believe that is the state.) :)

Blaming whole nations or being overly critical of anyone is not what the Cafe is about. Please report such posts. Like everyone, we are normal forum members.

Don't judge mods who post in threads. Rarely will a mod posting in a thread moderate that thread. In fact, the one is almost sure not to get any infractions for a mod posting in the same thread. Please report violations. If the violation isn't worth dealing with, it would be ignored. If too many are ignored, you can ask for clarification. If the violation is worth dealing with, it will be.
