Hi guys,
I have been looking around my city for the linux version of X-Plane 8 without luck. However, the demo seems to run fine (I have to try further). The thing is: I don't want to dual boot. So, if I could fly both flightgear and X-Plane 8 witout touching windows, I'd be happy. My question is:
Will the windows DVD of X-Plane 8 also work on linux? I mean, will the X-Plane 8 demo keep working after 6 minutes if the DVD inserted is the windows one?
And now that I am feeling comfortable, here goes my joystick rant. I own a M$ Sidewinder Precision Pro USB. It works alright under linux (hell, maybe better than in windows XP, since M$ didn't release drivers for XP and can't be programmed). Anyway, the center is a bit loose. I was looking to upgrade my stick with a Saitek X-52, but I haven't found any info that it works under linux. So, my second question is:
Does the Saitek X-52 work under linux?
Thanks in advance,
Miguel
