I saw in someones sig that theres this thing about turning your linux machine into a gaming system But I forgot what it was called. It had X's in the name thats all I can remember. Like xexon or something

Was it the Gentoo Xenon project? It's specific to the Xbox 360

check out ubuntu ulimate, google search it :) might interest you... comes with a good few games pre installed, and alot of software u will need...
