But there are some problems with it. It is an open case so a paper clip could destroy your machine e_e

Looks very cool

The fact that it's an open case would mean it wouldn't get overly hot, but like you said - it also puts it at more risks

Considering it's made from LESS parts than a normal case it looks obscenely expensive.

Who knew that haphazardly dumping components on the ground and cooling them with a bedroom fan would have been inspiration for a ridiculously over-priced case?

nah, check the review. It's not that haphazard. I like the idea but i live in the tropics. Humidity and dust accumulation are a concern for me...
But i agree with you on the price.

That case is Sweeeet! Only 2 things keep me from owning one:

1 - I live in too dusty of an area for an open case.

2 - USD $180.00 is too steep for such poor peripheral protection.

My .02....

None of the reviews I've seen for it bother to mention RF interference. Without a Faraday cage around it, I bet that it violates FCC regulations...

(It still looks cool though. ;))

I just thought it was cool. If I had a freakishly hot system, I would use that then put an air conditioner to blow on it

If that case is too expensive, just use an Ikea breadbin (http://www.silentpcreview.com/article42-page1.html) and leave the lid off.
