So I was thinking in church yesterday, "If Windows is life without walls, what's to protect you from viruses?".

I hope I wasn't the only person to see the humor in Microsoft's new marketing slogan.

It would seem you dont fully understand their campaign. I suggest you re read it http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows-vs-walls.aspx

Its actually quite a good marketing idea for somethig as mundane as an OS

If it where not for the sake what Windows already is, the slogan would be a win.

Linux' marketing slogan should be "Life without Windows".

Linux' marketing slogan should be "Life without Windows".
That would put us in a proverbial "box". I don't think many, if any, Linux users think entirely inside the "box". Back to the drawing board for that Linux slogan. ;)

"life without Walls" usually means Windows will Crash...

to the ground. Since they have no walls to support it.

they're now promoting ms cloud, so perhaps, as well as no walls, and no Gates, the roof has also gone!
