Hi, Im running on a macbook pro intel with leopard 10.5.4.

I have tried to install ubuntu on another partition many times. Most times it would just not mount the partitions. Now, i tried to install it this time changing the value in advanced settings. This results in getting the error "No boot found, Press any key to boot from CD". rEFIt shows that Linux is installed on a partition. I booted from my cd and selected the option "Boot from first HD" this allows me to boot ubuntu, remove the cd, and continue. Is there any fix around booting form cd first?

thankyou

EDIT: Sorry, version is 8.04.1 Desktop. AMD64.
