Have been banging my head against a brick wall for three days now trying to get my remote to work with mythbuntu.
After reading countless forum posts I conceed that Im really stuck with trying to get this thing to work.
Its a generic MCE remote. Have tried both MCE remote configs in myth setup. Have tried irrecord, but it generates a bunch of random characters (no dots).
have tried gnome-lirc-properties, but it exits out when Im pressing the remote buttons (I assume the buttons are working like a keyboard and all sorts of wierd things happen when I point it at the interface on 'Learn')
Please, if anyone out there knows how to get this working I would really appreciate some help!
