Hello,
I have been playing with the idea of having Ubuntu on my old iBook G3 for a while. Since I use Ubuntu 8.10 on my desktop (and absolutely love it) I do like the idea of having it on my laptop also.
My iBook is a 700MHz PowerPC G3 / 640MB Ram 20GBHDD
Has anyone had any success with this generation of iBook? Will it run any faster with Ubuntu compared to OSX 10.4.11? I was hoping it would run better with Ubuntu but is this wishful thinking? :confused:
Any input or advice would be greatly appreciated.
