Has anyone been able to access ivtvdriver.org today? Is there another place to get the cx18-firmware.tar.gz file that anyone knows of? Thanks.

I can't get to ivtv either. In the mean time, you can get the driver in zip here:
http://hauppauge.lightpath.net/software/install_cd/hauppauge_cd_3.4d1.zip

With instructions here:

I'm assuming you've installed the HVR1600? If so were you able to get it to successfully probe the analog portion of the card in mythtv using the 'MPEG-2 encoder card (PVR-x50, PVR-500)' setting? I was able to get it to probe successfully using the other settings (at least the ATSC part of the card), but not under this setting.

I do have the 1600 installed.

The analog is setup as a MPEG encoder an the ATSC is setup as a DVB card. For me, the analog portion is sketchy. Sometimes my live tv is in "fastfoward" and if I restart live tv it seems to reset itself and work as advertised.

Have you looked at http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/index.php/Hauppauge_HVR-1600 ?

I wonder if the script at the very bottom (right above the Resources section) would solve that problem for you.
